I got the idea for this website one day when I googled ways to promote blogs on MySpace but couldn’t find anything at all in my search.  There were general tips but MySpace itself is unique and I was looking for something a little more specific.  I thought I’d talk to some of the people who always are in the top rankings of the most popular blogs and get their secrets.  Once I had some tips I decided to go one step further and create a place where people could go that were trying to do the same thing I was.

I thought of a lot of the ways to promote a blog on MySpace.  Ways such as linking and entering contests and combined it with other methods of internet marketing when I came up with this idea.

The purpose of this website is to help bloggers on MySpace.  I use RSS feeds of the best bloggers to drive traffic to their MySpace page, that way they get the views and reap the benefits of being on the website.  Monthly contests are a great way to find the bloggers that are fantastic writers but don’t get any recognition.  Even without winning a contest the upswing in traffic can lead to hundreds or even thousands of new views.
